Administrative Responsibility - Principles of Model 231


Legislative decree 231 of June 8th, 2001 introduced the discipline of the Company’s administration responsibility. This discipline states that companies can be held responsible, and consequently subject to fine, for any offence committed or any attempt to commit offence in the interest or to the advantage of the company itself by the company’s director of employees. Companies can, therefore, organizational, management and control models designed to prevent these offences (“Model”); the principles of these models can be based on the code of practice drawn by Confindustria. During the meeting of March 11th, 2005 the Board of Directors of Tecnomare approved the “organizational management and control Model” in accordance with Legislative Decree 231 of 8 June 2001” (Regulations concerning the administrative responsibility of legal persons, companies and associations, with or without legal persons) and appointed the Watch Structure.
